SMSE: Solar Nouveau

And look at that. It's a collab piece that didn't turn out slutty! Yay! (I blame the animamate project for that one)

So this is Trinity Sailor Sun, her second form in my fic, SMSE fav.me/d64tvqk . She also reappears in SMCE in this form.

I started out with some anime art (dunno which) for a reference but changed it so it looks nothing like the original. Only part I kept was the arch in the back and the right leg. I finished the body and the dress, then looked at what I should do with the hair and thought, "Hm. The way this flows, it really could be an art nouveau piece."

And so I made it so.

I pulled ideas for the hair specifically from JOB by Alfons Mucha. I'm a big fan of Mucha. He has greatly influenced my style for a good number of years, so I'm always happy to squeeze in some curly lines in my artwork every so often.
