Comm: Princess Serenity

Description

Commission via Etsy. The request was to make a dress like the Irwin Princess Serena doll [link].

This dress is made from costume satin (which makes it very slippery). It didn't want to stay up, especially since Irwin dolls are very flat-chested D: The sleeves keep the dress up. The dress is made specifically for an Irwin doll (as requested). My only Usagi is Bandai.

The pearls are acrylic beads and the gold is metallic ribbon. The back bow is made out of lace and reaches all the way to the ground. The skirt is two layers.

The dress takes about 10 hours to make. The sleeves were the hardest to engineer.

Commission info:
DOLL CLOTHES COMMISSIONS (4 spots)Alright gaiz. I'm opening up outfit commissions! First come, first serve! The commissions currently are only for women's outfits (I haven't made patterns for Ken yet). I can make anything from school outfits to sailor fuku to casual wear. I am currently finishing up my Prototype series and am going to do commissions in between. Prices start at $5 for casual wear (simple dresses, shirts, etc) and $10 for sailor fuku. Costumes from other series vary but generally start at $5-$10, depending on complexity. Note that prices will increase at my discretion for complexity and time required, as well as materials (crystals are expensive). Note commissions do not have to be canon characters or SM exclusive. They can be anyone. Shipping rates: $1 for super small or flatter items $5 for US $13 to Canada & Mexico $17 internationally Note that I make everything from scratch, including the patterns. If I have a working pattern (like Sailor Fuku), the outfit may take less time to make.

Wow it took you 10 hours to make the dress! You wouldn't think something so small could take that long but I guess when you get to doing the details it does.
